""HONIG IM KOPF"" is a story about a special love. The love between TILDA and his grandfather AMANDUS. Amandus is having Alzheimer's. He actually was the bon vivant, the humorous and beloved head of the family, but now he is acting like a child again. Only the ten-year-old granddaughter Tilda can deal with him and his disease - she sees it with the eyes of a child…She has got this kind of humor and sensitivity, which makes it easer to approach Amandus, when he is lost in his new own world. This is not only helpful for her but also for the audience, without forgetting the emotionality and the tragedy of an Alzheimer's disease. Amandus's condition is getting worse after his wife died. It seems to be a desperate situation, because SARAH and NIKO (Tilda's parents) cannot take care of him. The only way they see to help Amandus is to bring him in a nursing home. But little Tilda doesn't want to have her granddad living there, so she kind of kidnaps him and helps to fulfill his last big dream.
